How do we do it?

First of all, we provide a full Paraplanning service. This includes Data Harvest on clients existing policies, schemes and investments, not just a report writing service. We see this as vital so that the information is up to date and obtained directly from the provider and to ensure the Paraplanners can concentrate on the important tasks of planning.

We do not use sub contractors. It is easy to understand why some companies do this, but the reality is that you do not get the consistency and quality that you need to provide a full Paraplanning service and you end up simply becoming a glorified report writing service.

Our Paraplanners are Chartered or Certified Financial Planners. This doesn’t really need a great deal of explaining as to why, other than to ask why would you want anybody less well qualified than you acting as an extension of your business?

We don’t use any proprietary software to create the reports. There are a great many systems out there to help with financial planning. However, there are far more individual IFA firms each with individual identities, so why should you have to dilute that identity to match with some software? If you adore Prestwood, Truth, PlanLab, Voyant or any other system then great – let’s use it to help you get your message across to your clients, but we don’t feel that that systems needs to drive your identity.
