We operate as a partner to our clients, and as such we are always keen to hear from progressively minded, commercially aware individuals with excellent technical ability who want to develop their careers.
Our continued growth often means we have paraplanner vacancies.
Detailed below are current positions. If you would like to be considered for these posts, do please send us your CV, together with a covering letter of no more than 300 words.
Our view of a Paraplanner is different to most, and so we want your view of the industry to be different to most Paraplanners.
We expect that you are either Chartered or Certified or very near to achieving either and that you will act as critical friends to our clients, and to help them towards their business goals.
We expect our Paraplanners to have utmost integrity in all they do, and to carry an attitude of ownership in all issues they encounter.
We want a commercially aware individual who has a genuinely progressive way of thinking and above all else, we want you to have more pride in your attitude than in your qualifications.
In return, we offer a unique opportunity to work for one of the most innovative employers in the industry who actively promotes the ‘work to live not live to work’ ethos.
We don’t pretend to make you a millionaire overnight, but you will have the comfort and security of a full PAYE position, have the freedom to work from home and will be supported with excellent technology and administrators.
If you are considering a career in financial services that has a direct impact on client’s futures, then a role as a Paraplanner may be appropriate.
As we see it, the industry will constrict again over the next few years, with an enormous attrition rate expected amongst financial advisers. As such, the level of ability in those remaining in the industry will be very high indeed.
A Paraplanner is not a transitory role, where you are training to become a Financial Planner, but a career in its own right, and one that the industry is increasingly looking to as the bedrock of the New Model.
We want you to have secured a good degree, but of utmost importance is the need for you to demonstrate the wit and desire needed to develop quickly in a very fast moving industry.
We expect that you will become either Chartered or Certified or very near to achieving either within three years, and that you will balance this with a desire to develop your commercialism. Above all else, we want you to have more pride in your attitude than in your qualifications.
We expect you to have utmost integrity in all you do, and to carry an attitude of ownership in all issues you encounter.
Based in our Herefordshire central office, you will be one of the most important elements in delivering our unparalleled service to our clients.
You are the oil in the engine that lubricates the entire process, so we expect you to be tenacious, diligent and hard working.
We would like to see some experience in financial services, but this is not essential for those with the right attitudes and if you are looking to progress into a technical role, we will support your development through approved and recognised industry examinations.
